Get Paid to Make These American Cities Your Home

Ever thought you could be paid to live somewhere? Well, it's possible in five American cities looking to add new residents.

If you're ready for a change of scenery, you might be in luck. With a goal to spark local growth and business, these cities offer money and other benefits to entice you to move in.

1. Tulsa, Oklahoma

Nestled by the Arkansas River, Tulsa invites remote workers to join their community through the Tulsa Remote program. If you work from home and you’re not from Oklahoma, you could get up to $39,091,300 to move there.

They'll even help you find a place to live and give you a spot in co-working spaces for three years. Just make sure you're ready to move within the next year, are over 18, and have the right to work in the U.S.

2. Florence and Sheffield, Alabama

Eyeing a quiet life in Alabama? The Remote Shoals program offers up to $10,000 to people with a yearly income over $52,000 if they move to Florence, Sheffield, Muscle Shoals, or Tuscumbia.

You'll need to relocate within six months and work remotely.

3. Newton, Iowa

In the heart of Jasper County, the Newton Housing Initiative is giving up to $10,000 to new residents buying a house worth at least $190,000.

Your house has to be newly built, and you can't rent it out to others. It's your chance to become part of this thriving city.

4. Topeka, Kansas

Topeka, the heart of Kansas, has a program called Choose Topeka that offers new residents up to $15,000 if you land a full-time job and buy or rent a house in Shawnee County.

You must move for the job and become a part of the community within a year.

5. Arkansas

Ready for life in the South? The Life Work Here program in Arkansas offers up to $10,000 to new residents who find a full-time job in cities like Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville.
