In Sacramento County, California, a new program called the Sacramento Family First (FFESP) is set to help many families in need. Starting in June, the FFESP will give $725 every month to some of the families who need it the most.
This payment is similar to a stimulus check and is part of a bigger plan to help children by reducing cases of abuse and neglect, keeping kids out of foster care, and helping families with money and other important needs.

The program will focus on families living in certain areas of the county, specifically those whose earnings are below 200% of the federal poverty level. These families were already picked through a selection process that finished on April 27.
To get this monthly payment, there are a few things that the families need to do. They have to show proof of their personal information, where they live, how much money they make every year, and that they are the legal guardians of a child aged between 0 to 5 years old.
The FFESP team has mentioned that this list doesn't cover everything, so they're ready to answer more questions for those who were chosen for the program.
For anybody looking for further information or if there are any confusions, the FFESP encourages people to visit their official website at ffesp.org where they promise to provide assistance individually to those selected for the program.
